Why do children seem more mature than adults?

I noticed that adults these days seem to get angry, cry, throw tantrums, and threaten violence over dumb things(like a stranger, saying no to them, them not getting the last pair of a certain style of shoes, they see someone with nicer things.) The kids they have with them get embarrassed​, apologize, and try to calm their parent down. Is this normal?

    I have seen a lot of adults with childish behaviors and kids having more mature ideas and thoughts..

    Because Adults are meant to be mature, so being immature is bad. But children are immature and if they are mature it is good.
