Yeah the internet is full of fake tough guys. All the more reason to ignore them. At the end if the day it's only words. How do I help these people ignore the trolls and help them handle different opinions?
What people? The friends I'm describing in my post. I want to help them because their behavior is not normal and they let trolls online and people with different opinions online ruin their day. Sometimes they take the childish route and take their anger out on others that had nothing to do with it.
Oh I didn't know they were your friends. not sure why you'd wanna stay friends with people like that..but anyway, I would just ask them why they're acting that way, and try to reassure/console them from there. Personally it didn't matter how much people told me it didn't matter, I had to learn to be ok with it on my own.
Why do adults cry when a stranger says something mean online?
