Why do adults argue with and insult each other online?

I really don't get it. It seems like you can't say anything without someone getting mad. I now ignore the angry people, but that hasn't stopped them from spamming my inbox or finding me on another site. I'm not talking about this site, btw.

    Because it's not face to face, people generally behave VERY differently online than they do in real life. It is quite strange to be honest. Somehow, the fact that people are behind a computer screen creates this disconnect that causes people to put their true thoughts into words which is something that many people rarely do in real life.

    Because people are pussies and will talk all the amount of shit they want online, they get brave when hiding behind a computer or gaming console. But believe me, if you was face to face with them they would not be that way.
