Is it normal to not know (or remember) why I got married in the first place? IDK what is so different in our relationship now than from when we were just b/f & g/f. Other than our names both being on a marriage certificate. Anyone else have these same sort of thoughts? Whats wrong with me? (And my love for my "other half" is the same since we were just b/f & g/f. So I haven't fallen out of love. I know THAT much) Thanks in advance.
Well, I don't really know if you're a male or female, but I'mma tell you what my father have taught me about marriages.
It's a commitment, where the guy (also called bridegroom) publish that from now on until he die (or get divorsed), he will be a slave to his wife.
He will wake up every morning, go to the mirror and say to himself: "You ain't shit! Fuck you and fuck your life! Fuck your friends, your hobbies, your dreams. Fuck everything you thought this life was going to be. Now let's try to make this bitch happy!" (And we all know it's impossible to make one from the female sex happy)
Also, once the girl (also called the bride) has got married, she will throw away everything that makes her interresting for a guy. And she might not even notice she does so.
She will wake up, look at the man who has just come back from the mirror and think to herself: "How did I end up with that loser? I'm hot enough for something better than this. I should have chosen something better than this man!"
But then again, being marriged is also knowing deep inside, that you are with the person you love. It's knowing that every minute - every secound is a little more precious, 'coz you get to be with that person for the rest of your life. To know that you are with a person who is willing to give up so much just for you.
But then again, I'm not married, and not planning to be in the nearest future. However, something I am, is very bored, so I'm writing a lot of nonsence right now, because I'm lying in bed with my laptop and can't sleep -.- Goodnight

You spend lots of money to have a wedding, if you want a traditional one.
You get tax deductions and better benefits for being married.
Sounds like the USA wants you to get married. How much is marriage shoved into peoples faces in the media?
