So im 18, ive been smoking for 3 years now. Its a terrible habit of mine which is really hard to quit! I feel like its the only thing keeping me sane besides my weed. Is it normal for a smoker like me to try and quit and then later on just keep smoking? And please no disrespectful comments.

Its so normal that they people make a lot of money off quitting smoking books and schemes - I was able to quit because of something that someone told me once -
"I dont want something that could kill me have control every aspect of my life anymore, I am not that weak"
Its definately normal cigs are addictive plain and simple, and despite what everyone says I would say weed is atleast mentally addictive too. All u need is a strong will to quit, try thinking about people that hav been smoking all their life and their hardships now. It helped me quit for 2 months but I went back to smokin, haven't had any urge to quit recently...
It's absolutely normal, it's INSANELY hard to quit smoking. I quit for about three months, started again, and now I'm trying to quit for the second time. You could try gum or patches, they're pretty expensive but I think there are programs that will give them out for free sometimes.
It is hard when you smoke weed too, or drink, so it'd probably help to take a break from that for a while. Just don't give up :)
