I tried to put my info in to buy it a few days ago and, it gave me a message saying Internal Service Error(this was from my bf's computer). I tried to buy it again today(on my laptop this time), but the same thing happened. I never had a problem buying it in the past, is this normal?
Why would you want to? This site is fucking shit and is about to go under, lol
My advice would be don't buy it. He doesn't deserve your money. And if he's going to make it extra difficult to buy? Well, how fucking stupid can one person be?
not taking a shot at you here since I like you and you're really cool, but you seem to be going a little extra hard on things here lately. If the sites state is causing so much stress perhaps its time to abandon it?

The fact remains, that idiot has lured people into giving him money under false pretenses. It's the principle of the thing. I don't like deadshits. They deserve to be held accountable.

This may be fragmented. It's the end of a long day, so sorry if this is hard to follow.
When he brought in gold, his reasoning was that it would give him the funding to fix all the problems the site had, as he said he was too busy and finances didn't allow him to spend the time fixing all the bugs and moderating the community.
From there, all he did was continue to drop standards and become even more absent. Until last week, he hadn't even been on the site in two years. Gold was introduced, what? 3-3.5years ago?
He has placed preference with malicious trolls, without being even vaguely aware of the site dynamic. He allows paedophilia, rape, violence, incest, etc in posts (which will come back through moderation more often than not) but allow trolls to destroy serious questions...
He doesn't want decent people here.
And now he's making superficial changes that fuck shit up. He's changing the wording in links and taking off profile pics (making yet another forum basic a paid feature...), gold's main feature (see unmoderated posts) was stripped years ago when he set to automatically accept most posts. He has shown no evidence of anything he has promised. But he'll happily take as much money as he can.
Oh...and if the million a month people are using the site like he claims (apparently, the new site is optimised for these dynamic visitors, not the static membership) then surely he gets at least a modest sum in ad revenue, yes?
You're obviously free to spend your money how you see fit, and it's none of my business how you choose to do so, and I have no interest in judging whatever decision you make in that regard. But the question was there, so I answered it, and I don't pull punches.

Ugh sorry, I know I should edit, but he's fucked up the formatting with edits and I just cba to go through and change it...
He is ignoring people sending requests for password changes (since being logged off when he reset everything) and from people who are emailing him with bugs.
And he has the nerve to say people shouldn't make posts about any complaints they have (because he won't see them - his words. That's probably because he doesn't do a damn thing of worth, like knowing what the fuck goes on on this site), they should send feedback (which has been broken for a good six months before the big change, mind you. And he told us three or four years ago that he just never gets any feedback sent through the old quickfeed back form. Just didn't make that an announcement, or anything...we wouldn't want people having relevant information, would we?

Everyone can report both posts and comments. Please report any inappropriate posts and comments. That's the only way we can keep up with it and take down bad stuff. Complaining about it like this doesn't help solve the problem. If you would report things we can address it. Thank you.
It may not happen right away, but reporting def. helps no matter who is doing it. You can actually earn karma by correctly reporting things as well. Thanks!

Awww man. Im sorry. Why let the trolls ruin a good feature for everyone else? If you're so overwhelmed by the site Have you considered making some of the regulars here mods? Maybe they can help you? I'm kind of a bit torn about this site right now. I have no idea what's true and whats not.
But I'm a regular. Am I part of the problem? I think they're just frustrated at the site right now. This place used to have really intelligent people(that are now gone), there were less trolls, and it used to be a little busier than it is now. The intelligent people that are left over are seemingly stooping to troll levels out of frustration to what this site is now and it's a mess. I also miss how this place used to be. I'm hoping this place can be saved and can go back to what it was.
Once you have things sorted out here's an idea : there was this website I used to go to that had paid features. They made a few regulars mods and gave them the paid features for free instead of paying the users a per hour salary. It's just an idea. No malice here.

It was a debit card i used in the past and it has plenty of Cash on it. I even checked the number when typing so the correct information gets put in. I might try it again. Thank you for the help. I do appreciate it.
Also, why are the posts by kids still up on the site? Why are kids even coming here? I'm wondering if the report feature still works?

You sure all posts that are reported are reviewd and that the report system still works? There are some posts on here made by 12-16 year olds that I reported that I swear I still see on this site. I don't like the idea of kids mucking this place up with their clueless posts and bad advice. Not trying to be a jerk supreme.
Until the site is finished being updated and fixed I might hold off on getting gold for now. I want to see if it's still worthwhile. I like this place and I can kind of see why the people on it are fed up but at the same time I see you trying to improve it, I want to see how this place turns out sice I like all of yall
