Yes I can be kind to strangers but if I am to move you from stranget to accuaintance or friend its because I see something in you that I like or would enjoy having be it your personality, brains, body, connections or anything else. There are tons of people we speak to every day with no intention of ever talking to again. Once you have identified a person as being fit to actually enter your life in some way, you've identified something you want in them.
