Why are there so many fat women in adverts?

    People are going to have a problem no matter what type of women are in ads.
    Not like you beta males on here have a huge choice of any type of woman.

      Its cringy tho how far they go with the "realistic body" trend. Have you been to target lately? All the manicans are chubby or fat now. Its overkill.

        The funny thing about body positivity is that the photos of larger women are STILL filtered. With extra weight comes cellulite, dimples etc. Yet in the photos, their skin is perfectly smooth.

        I do not personally think attractiveness is limited to certain sizes. The problem is, the media is still showing an unrealistic standard. So then larger women may think, "I am her size and shape, how come her skin is so smooth but I have cellulite?"

        The thing that seems really hypocritical to me is that they were right to complain about having paper thin women in the ads because it's promoting an unrealistic and unhealthy body to most women, but now they seem to be doing the exact same thing just at the other side of the spectrum.           Now that is a beautiful body. You need to workout and eat right to maintain that but everyone should do that
