But I can see where it makes sense to put more out of shape bodies in advertisements in places where people are more out of shape.
Instead of the “You could look like this!” approach that most clothing brands take when they put a 40 pound woman on a sticker, they might be going for “You would look like this!” way by putting a body in the clothing that might more resemble the buyer.
I know here in Russia we have a very strict and honestly damaging beauty code for women. A reason for this is because there’s a lack of men, and even more so a lack of good men.
I used to go on double dates and our girls would get up and go to the bathroom together to go throw up the meals we just bought for them. And these were not overweight girls by any means.
A year later they would make you buy them shiny new white teeth because their stomach acid had eaten their real ones away.
But, for the advertising, I think by showing a “diverse” group of bodies wearing their clothing they are doing a better job of selling a product for what it is. While showing their clothing strictly on supermodels is more of selling you a fantasy.

Feminism is equality and fighting for women’s rights to choose what path they want to take.
In the West, women needed feminism to be able to choose to become professionals and working women. Western women needed feminism to have the ability to choose to live “like a man” with independence and focusing on a career.
In the Soviet Union, women were held to (mostly) the same standard as men. Everything was equal, (mostly), but you didn’t get to choose whether to live as a “traditional” wife or a career woman.
Russian feminism helps women be able to make the choice to choose between a focus on a career versus a focus on motherhood.
Western feminism helps women be able to make the choice to choose between a focus on a career versus a focus on motherhood.
But they are flip flopping where they want to take their choices.
My fiancée is an Oral surgeon and my sister in law is a stay at home mom, feminism is what let them make that choice.
Feminism in the USA use to be that. But now it has evolved into women with short green dyed hair that scream rape when a man compliments their appearance. They're usually super obese. And say things like "we need a woman in the whitehouse no matter what her policies are."
Idk it yall have feminists like that there but here they're very stupid people. Being called a feminist here is an insult.

You have your bat shit crazy lefties that want socialism and a weird cultural change. These people demand that capitalism be abolished because they work at tacobell for 7.25 an hour. But the real reason they work at tacobell is because they have short green hair and neck tattoos and a horrible attitude with no skills or drive.
Then you have the other side who are the normal traditional Americans. Theyre die hard capitalists. They get married and have children. The men work to provide and the women take care of the kids. They usually make decent money because they dont have their head up their ass and they dont see themselves as victims. They dont make excuses for their failures they own them. They usually collect guns and do not like government control. They like free markets because they may be starting a business one day and they have money in the stock market.
Theres also a lot of people inbetween obviously but those are the two far ends of the spectrum.

My neck and face is tattooed.
That 50/50 split isn’t something to be proud of, just shows how divided and dysfunctional the country is.
When I picture, and how I’ve experienced, Americans they’re always some opioid raging sex obsessed asshole furiously masturbating over a pile of money so they can go shove it in their neighbors face.
Lots of depravity and zero attachment to honor. They’d sell their sister for an extra digit in their bank account.
That’s why the US government inflates their money and lets their people die from lack of healthcare just so they can pull some shit in the stock market. They know their citizens are only loyal to their own selfish interests. Once the banks show a weakness, they’d all be on the next plane out of there. Rat racers.
Everything in America is “me me me, money money money” whether that’s from those building burning leftists or predatory right wingers.
I did almost 2 years there and genuinely struggle to find something good to say about them. But, I think some of them have a good grasp on animal rights and they treat their disabled people better.
