I've thought for a long time that what you say must be true. I speak as a guy who has never cared much about the sexual history of women I've had sexual relationships with. The only thing that really mattered was what was going on between a woman and me, not what she did in the past or who she did it with.
Actually, wait a second. OP claims "My ex used to accuse me of cheating and saying that I lost my virginity to someone else." The important phrase here is "accuse me of cheating". This ex thought OP was cheating on him.
It depends, really.
I like virgins because they are less likely to have STD's and have something cute and innocent that other girls don't have.
I don't really care about sexual performance.

It's because they have low self esteem. They can't bear the thought that you might compare their sexual performance with another mans.
