I have been on this site for about 7 months now, and i have noticed people here are very rude towards each other. Not only on the the forums but also in the chat section. Why are you people like this?
Who are you talking about? Some are trolls but others are just bitter about their own shitty lives and use this as a safe space to take their anger out without getting their ass kicked
I so agree with the op. Why do trolls and bitter people even log on to Is It Normal. It's supposed to be a site where you can ask your most embarrassing questions and not have to worry about being judged. For the most part I think that most of us on the site have really good intentions and want to help people. Unfortunately, we can't weed out the dickheads with nothing else going on in their lives.
I treat trolls and idiots with the contempt they deserve.
If people have a problem with that, I think it says more about them than me.
Yeah. Ive noticed it too. I made a post once about wanting to breed my dog and had to delete it due to some jerk being judgemental and making insults towards my character. I don't see why people cant just be nice. If theyre suffering, I get it. But it seems like even people who are fine are being jerks just to be jerks.
Because they are American and Australian, the two rudest (but best) countries in the world.
Australia is a racist asf country. I live in England and loads of people talk broken English literally they speak like they have brain damage. Thank god I can speak proper English
Forgot to mention that I would not want to live anywhere other than the U.S., or Australia. Canada is a good country with nicer people, but taxes are too high, and the weather is a bit cold.

But neither country in general is offensively rude. They are rude in a way that stimulates wit, brutal honesty, and acceptance of mutual fuck-off-man-ship. It's rather pleasant when you get used to it. That's why American ancestors got kicked out of England, and Australian ancestors couldn't wait to leave the bloody place. Now everybody in the English speaking world is happy.
Why not create a post to test this assumption?
Anonymity; almost nobody would say such things face to face. And that goes for every online website :/
