I'm not saying there is something wrong with that or eiter of you. Not all relationships are completely equal, nor they are all based on absolute and mutual trust. But it seems that the current situation does not work for you. You even resorted to breaking your unspoken agreement with him and snooped through his phone. I feel it would be harmful to you and your relationship to proceed in this manner. Doing nothing will probably be even worse. Find a better solution.
