Why are men's shirts so much longer than women's?

Men's shirts go down past the guy's butt. However, women's shirts stop at the top of her jeans.

      Not only are girls and women's shirts shorter, they cost at least half as much again. Women will pay for more to be even half-fashionable, than men.

    there was a time when women's shirts went way down to their knees (this is how the skirt was invented ) while men wore tucked shirts at that time.

    Because it's easier for short shirts to become untucked. Also, it gives you a little something extra when you shit your pants or run out of toilet paper.
