I have type 2 but I am not bitter. I know some on here think I am a bitch but in RL I am alright.
I wash my diabetic meds down with a nice cold pepsi or chocolate milk.
Keep something else in mind - doctors diagnose pretty much everyone age 18 to 60 with type 2 diabetes. Before that it is autism and after that it is COPD.
Suppose to be but not like testing is going to change anything. I am not going to say, "Oh no, blood sugar too high. better not eat such and such."
Some people make an entire lifestyle out of their ailments/disease/disorders or whatever. I do not.
If you are seeking solid advice about dealing with diabetes, I am not able to help because I am not a doctor and I do not let my health issues control my life.
Also forgot to mention, mine is type 2, which is also called "adult onset diabetes".
Why are diabetic people assholes?

Nope, and for highest glucose level, I do not know. I do not bother with blood sugar testing.
I don't know how this will sound but really, I couldn't care less about all that.
