It's the religious brainwashing, fearing mythical creatures and entities that do not exist. Nobody is going to be punished in hell or by demons, it doesn't even make any sense.
Im not afraid about the hell and heaven thing but I am afraid that when somebody dies they would wake up when they are buried or they dont exist anymore and they are not looking down from above on loved ones and all they have left is nothing because they will have no memory and their existence is gone.
Why am I thinking about death constantly?
