  • What you see is not what other people see, and nobody sees what is actually there. Our minds perform an immense amount of processing to convert raw light into intelligable information and this distorts things. Our self-esteem can directly effect what we perceive about ourselves emphasizing often minor features, particularly when we combine it with our expectations of what we should look like. Other people are far more able and willing to accept the unique combination of features that make up your face as being normal and, depending upon their tastes, attractive. So don't sweat it. You could be the worlds most beautiful woman and still see a hag in the mirror if that's what you think you are. Learn to accept and love yourself.
