Why am i compelled to reread what i write several times after i send it?

Whether it's on a forum, doing RP, something here, gladly not so much with texting... but I can't stop rereading what I write...

    A good habit to have, really. You want to get your point across as lucidly as possible, so I don't see why not.

    I don't know why I do it... but I do it too. I will probably come back and read this comment 4 or 5 times minimum.
