  • Man B who wouldn't like an extra $2k a month. Although you have an opportunity to choose between working and staying home you want to keep your independence by finding a career and/or furthering your education. Once you give up your right to independence consider the relationship over.

    • Why would that mean the relationship is over once they give up their right to independence?

      • From personal experience, once you give up your right to independence it will and can be used against you for personal satisfaction and to have complete control over the other person. It's unhealthy and will cause relationship issues in the near future.

        • If you are with a person that would use that against you its probably better not to be with them anyway. With this trait its not good to stay with them because they would manipulate you.

          • You're right, situations like this occur every day, and by the time you realize you're in one, it's too late you then have to put your life back together while someone is financially manipulating you.
