Im gonna try to sell you on why thats not the case. When you throw kids into the equation it all changes. The difference is the women make the babies and the milk for the babies. And they also play a vital role for the young because of a special bond between child and mom in the early years. This is something we as humans figured out millenniums ago thats why the man has traditionally been the breadwinner.
We like to think we are so well evolved that this isnt necessary anymore but then you look at the birthrates dropping and also if you send your kid to daycare you're talking $500+ a week. And men statistically make more money (because they do harder and more dangerous jobs) so it makes sense for them to be the ones working. If you want a family it actually makes alot of sense for them to stay home especially in the younger years of your kids life.
Whos a better catch
