Yep. I work in retail and we have a couple of former homemakers working here who's breadwinner partners were actually smart about the divorce.
These former homemakers seem to have forgotten how to work, save money, and be on their own. They constantly complain about having to sweat and be on their feet all day like the rest of us. They also complain about how they can't afford rent, yet they're spending their money on clothes, accessories, and expensive food the store sells.
For some of them, back when they were married, they acted like Karens toward some of the workers. The workers that remember that shit will go out of their way to treat them badly.
I could never put myself in a situation where I need to rely on someone else. Seeing how other people turn out is enough to make me steer clear of it. XD
Same here. I got injured at work last May and was out of work for two months. During the second month of being out of work I was so stir crazy that I started counting all the OSHA violations in the juice factory levels of the Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze video game I was playing. XD
Atleast she holds a job. Many people I know will bounce around and never stick with a job more than a few months. Must look terrible on a resume to have 20 different jobs in 4 years.
I knew it was an SNL reference. I just didn't know the best way to reply to it, so I just gave the comment a thumbs up and moved on. Sorry for the confusion.
Whos a better catch

Go with man A.
If you go with B you'll be totally fucked when he leaves you.

I've worked with a few Karens as well, who will bitch about having to be on their feet or get their hands dirty. But they don't seem to last long.
Personally I couldn't stand just sitting around at home without something to get me out of bed or at least keep me active.

In a strange way I admire someone who has had 19 jobs in 4 years and manages to get a 20th. That must be some serious charisma.
I'm not making fun of her, I just mentioned a character I find funny. I thought it was obvious and hope she didn't take it that way.
So what? Don't make fun of Cuntsicklestick.

Why would you assume I'm making fun of her job? It's just a SNL reference.

I haven't watched SNL in years.
After the 2-person backlash, I need to make sure you know what I was talking about. You do, right?
