To be honest, it's no contest. I'd definitely save my pet. Unlike *some* people here [glares at Moonbow] I value my pets, and anyway the tourist would most likely be capable of getting himself out. (If he wasn't, I wouldn't be able to save him, either.) Either way, the pet is my responsibility; the tourist isn't.
You are so right. I applaud you, sir/mam *claps in your direction*. I feel the exact same way as you do about the matter. Thanks for seeing who's truly important in the situation. :)
