Consumer Cellular. Nice price for unlimited texting if you use a burner phone.

Why do you use burner phones? Are you in a Bourne movie or something? :S

Burner phones are cheap and good quality. I bought a BLU for $50.

How long do they last, though? I pay R$44,90 for enough internet, plenty of phone calls and text messages here. If you convert it into dollars it sounds cheap, but don't consider our currency and the exchange rate - imagine that is about 1% of my salary. Is that too much? It's possibly cheaper here, I haven't lived in the US for over 10 years, so I don't know current plan rates.

They last as long as expensive phones. After you purchase one, you subscribe to a service provider who sends you a SIM card in the mail. I have Consumer Cellular for $29/mo. It includes phone, and unlimited texting. I use free wifi for internet activity.

1% sounds a bit expensive for only a phone. My Internet land line is $35/mo. Then I buy movies from Netflix. I keep my total expenses a bit under 1%.

You surely have higher income, so your 1% is more than mine... haha! Cost of Internet + landline + cable TV = nearly R$200

I've got a Virgin Mobile Paylo plan. I get unlimited minutes, and like 500 texts a month for twenty bucks. No internet unless I'm near wifi though. There are probably better plans out there, but this one suits me just fine for now.

I always had good luck with net10.
They have generous pre-pay plans but no carry-over of data.

I am not with them now but was for years.

i have t mobile, but the data sucks. everybody who has verizon has always told me how kick ass and fast the data is so i'd definitely do verizon if i could.

Right now I have verizon and though their data allowance isn't THE most on a prepay, it does carry over.

      On a pre-pay, I get this -
$40 for 3 gigs data that does carry over for one month, and unlimited calls and texts. Like anyone calls or texts me anyways. I could be limited to 10 calls a month and those would probably be my doctor or bank.

And which one of these do you work for?

"Who" is a person... not a company. "Which one" would be more grammatically correct. AND... more information, because each one of these companies have varying service packages (depending on what you want/ need). Therefore, there is not enough information in the question to give a valid answer. BTW, I have Sprint.
