Can you be obese if you eat healthy food and exercise often? I know you can be overweight alright (I've seen overweight marathon runners), but I wouldn't think you could be obese with that kind of lifestyle.
Exactly. All it takes is a calorie surplus.
If your common meal amount is equal 2 pounds of chicken not smothered in butter or condiments, 3 salads that aren't drenched in dressing, and 2 healthy smoothies- you're not thin.
It can however take a surplus of oil/fat, or a surplus of cholesterol, I don't know how the latter works when you don't eat meat, the doctors haven't taught me to eat right, I had to do my research to know what's good and feel good.
I have hypothyroidism I'm not obese.. you have to eat healthy and low cal to maintain your weight one cookie and it's over. Overweight is normal for hypothyroidism but to be obese with hypothyroidism means you're not eating healthy.
When I eat healthy with hypo and normal cals I'm overweight. But obesity would be slightly overeating. Right now I'm thin with hypo but I only eat 1000 cals a day to maintain 125 pounds.
I'm on a healthy diet but I'm not trying to lose weight, I feel good on the inside, and it's food that's the medicine, the fact that a man needs so many meds means they have pessimal health. My health from 18 years was pretty bad, I haven't declined on cake, later on it was causing heart problems until I stopped eating cake. However about my thyroid there's only one thing wrong with my larynx, it gets sore when I smoke, I take throat lozenges and it feels easier.
Yes some ppl gain weight easier but everyone can lose weight with diet. It sounds fucked up but think about it no one at auschwitz had any problems losing weight. If you dont eat you lose weight.
It's deceptive, those slimming foods aren't working. Plus exercise is supposed to be heart-healthy. Also the reality is if you don't fit in your jeans or your Sunday dress there's a problem.
Who's healthier?

Of course you can, if your calorie input exceeds your calorie output. What if you eat a 5000 calorie bag of walnuts in a day?

You can, but it almost always indicates a thyroid problem.

There are several other conditions that can cause overweight as well.
However, someone overweight but doing regular exercises is healthier than someone not exercising. Many medical studies on that.

Yeah you really can't unless it's some rare illness but the average person couldn't be obese and eat healthy and exercise lol
there's health issues that can make it extremely difficult to lose weight even if you're eating healthy/exercising like PCOS or hypothyroidism

It's deceptive because it seems like the moderately obese person is the healthier one, but it turns out he has AIDS
