I know.
I've read through the bible several times.
It gets pretty irrational if you stop and think about it.
My religion and most people I try to talk to about it are very close minded.
But from a logical point.
Christianity has a lot of gaps in its path.
There are many more objectionable or at least questionable verses from the bible, like how it puts a specific monetary price on what one should pay for a slave, and that whether or not a slave owner is kind or harsh to his slaves, they should just succumb in the name of the lord.

There's also a part of the bible where Jesus curses a fig tree for having bad figs. I'm pretty sure the tree dies as a result.
