It's an interesting question. I thought the giver was more submissive but I was talking to a gay male friend about the bottom/top thing and we realised our definitions varied based on sexuality. For him, the person doing something to another is dominant, even if that person is pleasuring another. To me, the person giving pleasure was classed as submissive.
This conversation was only two or three weeks ago and it really made me think. To be honest, I'm still thinking.
What's your answer on this? Given that I seem to be in the same place as you and pondering the same thing, what are your thoughts?
