    Y? he is not as good as the other 2 choices and hasn't been in metallica for at least 2 years.

      He is one of the two choices. How can he not be as good as himself? And he hasn't been in Metallica since the 80's.

      You do know that Dave Mustaine was the first Metallica guitarist, right? He was replaced by Kirk Hammet and he then started Megadeth.

      You clearly had no idea.

        I knew that but Dave in Megadeth was a better guitar player than when he was in Metallica. he played heavier and faster in Megadeth than he played in Metallica making him a better guitarist in Megadeth.
