Who here loves lasagne?

As you can tell I love it a lot to the point where I have the inner Garfield in me ( you know that orange, tabby chonker, except I am happy being human ) , I love making it despite there's lots of recipes. I love the cheesy part in the lasagne which makes it scrumptious/delicious :D

I love it 22
I'm neutral about it 8
I dislike it 5

It used to be a favorite but I haven't had it much in the past 15 or 20 years. I kinda quit eating pasta a while back. Tried it with zucchini noodles but I didn't like it.

Eggplant lasagna is a much better option than zucchini, providing you like eggplant, of course. BTW, I think cauliflower as a substitute for pasta and dough is better than zucchini, like on pizza crust.

I have some eggplants growing in my garden, so I'll try that! I do like cauliflower rice, I haven't had it as a pizza crust yet though.

Do it then!! I'm sure you'll love them both. The cauliflower has less water than the zucchini, but you still have to remove excess water. The eggplant is fab for the lasagna. Although I prefer to have it breaded and fried before assembling it, IT is also good on its own - but I'd recommend getting at least a little char on it (the slices) first.

I love it when it’s made right, which means like my Italian grandmother made it. I’ve only found 1 restaurant around here that comes close. I can get close too, but it’s so much work. My granddaughter and I make it once in a while.

Processed? Not if you make it yourself.
      Then it's phenomenal!

i love italian food and ill definitely eat it

but in my opinion the ricotta cheese makes it too squishy

i wouldnt pay for it if theres other options

id prefer a bowla spaghetti & meatballs with marinara and a truckloada romano on top

a google search of lasagna recipes turns up each & every one with ricotta

bolognese is the sauce not the cheese

Well, that's just wrong then!! It's mozza here in mine. And then some parmegiano-reggiano, depending on how rich you are that day. With that yummy bolognese sauce. Dingo is welcome to try it before you do. If he doesn't die than you can have it too!
