Who here is left or right wing?
I see myself at the center because I can see that both sides have a point on certain issues. But I was wondering how many people on this site view themselves as liberal or conservative.

None of the above.
Each side has been taken over by bat-shit crazy extremists.
Anyone who tows a party line is foolish and lazy. Judge each issue on it's own merits.
I don't know what I am, I speak freely and won't ever let anyone stop me. I have guns to shoot targets recreationally and at people if they ever threaten me or my family. As a woman I need my right to control my body. I believe in single payer health care. I hate the death penalty, I want all drugs legalized, and treated as a health issue. I want the usa to get more involved in world affairs, with good freedom loving values behind them. I am not right or left.
I don’t want to be a wing, I want to be at the control tower— better yet, I want to be tsa so I can take ya’ water.
I'm a centrist. Although I am concerned about the populace, I have no ideals, nor do I have any sympathy for anyone regardless of income, or lifestyle. A happy society is my lowest priority. I want traction, opportunity, and growth thru global competition and domestic efficiency.
I do not tolerate "rent seeking legislation" from the right wing because it causes the 1% to get lazy. The 1% should be terrified of losing their wealth if they make bad business decisions, and taxed punitively if they destroy healthy companies for personal gain. I also don't tolerate sympathetic handouts from the left wing for fucktards. Liberals should be working to bolster education and skills that make young people better people. They need to penalize obese diabetics, and drug addicts for their bad decisions. Money should go into programs that raise incentives for better personal choices.
Government is a fucked up institution because everyone, including myself, is politically fucked up. If you think of a solution that assures traction for measurable benefits, you can count on my vote.
Okay, here’s my pitch McBean, I know you’re gonna like it.
We invent fast space travel, and then everyone gets their own piece of space.
Wait wait, or how about instead of that, we do it, cause I could totally see that working out. Since space is vast and has no direction.
Give me a sexy, sleek sci-fi space ship with artificial gravity and a massive booze supply and I'm ready to explore the far reaches of the cosmos for the honor and glory of mankind!
I would gladly sip whiskey on the bridge as I gaze out into the abyss, pondering on the meaning of life, history of mankind and future of space travel.
Thank you, been a long time since I've seen anything Star trek... Never even watched the new movies. Probably should at some point.
I'd either be the best captain of the space fleet, or the worst. Either way, I'll have the power of a miniature sun between my legs and I'm ok with that. Let's burn this candle! 150% thrust!
Not me. I'd get hammered, freak out, and jump out into the vacuous abyss.
In theory, you have a good idea. However, the physical energy requirements would raise costs beyond break even levels.
Anti-gravity technology would be needed. But that will remain classified for several more centuries to preserve a marginal military advantage assuring the hegemony of North America and Western Europe in global affairs.
Keep thinking, tho. Young minds like yours should challenge the status quo.
Left, but I have disagreed with them before about certain topics and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.
I dont like aspects of either.
But, I have to go with the lesser of 2 Evils.
So, I vote. D.
I support unions, D.

I think religion and politics are separate, and should be. D.
I believe in responsible drug use, D.

I dont really care about LGBTQ,LMOP?
issues. BUT, its also none of my business, or the governments, D.
So, no.
Im not 100% " left wing "
But I am smart enough to realize the Republicans are morally bankrupt and bought out by the 1%
That includes some very wealthy preachers.
Depends entirely on the issue. Why take "sides" anyway? Most countries have an assortment of political parties with different views to choose from, not just LEFT and RIGHT. No wonder your government shut down with such a stupid dichotomy.
I'm both. Which one I am depends on what specific issue you're referring to.
I like low taxes and making America the most badass economy ever. So i guess right wing.
Right of Ghengis Khan. I'm all for helping the needy but far too many people who can work, just want to sit on their backside and let the rest of us pay for them. Would like to see public hanging back for child/animal abusers and serial killers (and parking violations). It's all gone too p.c. and soft.
I don’t agree with either fully. I agree with some concepts on both sides....
I'm a Centrist, overall. I lean right on immigration and some economic issues, but I lean left on social and environmental issues.
Neither, I don't understand putting my self in a box, boxes are for cats.
But seriously how can every possible political belief be summed up in 2 boxes. Lol
Even if they offer more boxes (political groups) nah I'm not gonna hop in any of that shit. I'll just vote if I have to, then kick that box to the curb as quick as I saw it.
I’m a libertarian but since I want to actually win elections I vote republican.
