Who else misses the music from the 1980's

1980's music is a little before my time but I grew up with parents and other family members listing to Music that peaked in the 80's.

I think this era was the beacon for music. I also think a lot of our trendsetters musically where at there best at this time. Example is guns n roses.

I miss 80's music. I love sitting back listening to this nostalgia, blast from the past. Can we bring back these hard working bands from the 80's please.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

It is my preference but I grew up with it.
The only shit part is that Madonna and Micheal Jackson ended up being every other song at one point.

On weekends, you can listen to American Top 40 countdowns from the 1980's, Casey Kasem hosted most but a few were with Rick Deez. He was some obnoxious DJ. Casey was more business-like.

Anyways check this site/thread for times and stations.

If you do not trust the link, do a search for "at40 80's current station list".
Every week it is a different show for the respective week but a different year in the 80's.

The music of the 1980's, especially New Wave music, totally awesome! 😎

All aboard the 80s nostalgia bus, driven by yours truly.

Fun fact... I drive a bus on Saturdays and regular passengers nicknamed it "the 80s express", cause I mostly listen to 80s music and it's obvious it's my music, cause there is no 80s exclusive radio station where I live.
On the way back to the depot I often put "the 80s comet" on the display cause it sounds cool and crank my tunes all the way up.

I was raised with old school music from the 70s and 80s and I agree.
Music back then had passion. Songs could toy with our emotions beautifully and soothe the soul.

    • Not the same as listening to 80's music on a proper stereo amplifier with the normal 2 speakers, none of this surround sound, satellite, 50 speakers all around ya shit. Real decent stereo like marantz or denon, single slat with the separated cd, equalizer, tape deck, radio..... bla, bla, Ahhh nostalgia. The good ol days with PanterA or the offspring playing.
