Who else is getting screwed around by customer service or technical support

I am having issues with a few different companies at the moment.
Every god dam time I ring or email I get someone on the other end that can barely speak a word of english, let alone piece together a f*cking understandable sentence.

They all sound like indian or packy robots. "h e l l o mit'r sir.. How m a y I help acomplis &^*%&^%89 *&^*&%&( 8877^*&^%%".

And they keep making mistake, after mistake!
It's like, this is your job and I know so much more then you. It is not rocket science FFS.

Why are these idiots employed to TALK over the F*CKING phone and not be able to SPEAK a lick of english? Must just be cheap labor.

They are infested everywhere now! Internet, electricity, phone, bank, bla, bla. All these companies I use are all Australian owned but yet they employ people that can barely communicate with there customers. And they get angry at me when I say "I can not understand you, get me an Australian".

Man who else is having problems like this? Can't just be me!

    It's cheaper to employ people in other countries whose standards are lower than your own.

    This was a big problem in the UK but eventually they realised that it was counterproductive because the quality was so poor that it made everyone angry and switch to other companies so now there's been a gradual move back to UK based call centres. It will probably happen in Australia too, just give it time.

      I hope it does happen.. I was just awarded over $300 in a dispute because my bank overturned them idiots and just took my money back.

          Try being polite. In my experience, people will go out of the way to help you if you aren't an ass

    well technical difficulties are the worst, but the people i talk to are really nice. i turn speaker phone on and try to listen really hard to figure out what people are saying.

    • Well first of they start nice, but then when they completely get it wrong, say its my error and I'm wrong that's when shit hits the fan. I pay them not the other way around! Any way I won the case but it did take talking to a Australian from the ombudsman to fix my complaint.... After months of them screwing me around and costing me money I don't even get an apology... I like how the details they put through to the ombudsman... "technical error" lol, ohh that makes it ok then. More like can not speak a lick of english error!
