Do you people even know what is considered kidnapping under the law?? You'd be surprised. Most people charged with kidnapping either 1. kept posession of their OWN child outside of the custody arrangement or 2. didn't involve a child AT ALL, most likely it involves adults (robberies, typically). Kidnapping doesn't necessarily mean you take someone far away in a vehicle against their will either, many times it is an add-on crime attached to a more serious crime.
People charged with kidnapping their own kids many times are more victims of a vindictive ex rather than a real criminal (being a few minutes late to drop off the kid??or sometimes the custodial parent is a monster abuser and the other parent sees taking the kids as their only option-it happens A LOT)
