You've attributed to me a slew of positions and stances I never claimed to uphold. You then went on to disprove those straw man arguments. But you also complimented me on my tact, in your own way, and so I won't hold it against you. If I can't convince you of anything else, then at least learn from the way I use my words. Your personal attacks weaken what is really a well thought-out perspective.
I'll repeat the original argument I made: racial tension and poor race relations is due most in part to income inequality. I believe the phrase 'income inequality' might have provoked you because of how misused it is these days. The way I am using it simply means a vast difference in income, without the 'everyone is equal' political connotation.
You've given arguments as to why there is an income inequality in the first place. That's perfectly fine. But do we both agree that income inequality (regardless of the factors that cause it) is biggest reason for racial tension? I think we do.
From what I gather the only difference in opinion we have is that you believe IQ to play a greater role in this matter than I do. Regardless of predispositions, we don't see many well-off blacks joining gangs or doing crack. Testosterone levels may hold some merit over aggressiveness, but wealth seems to be a far greater behavioral factor.
My original solution that I offered was that young blacks needed jobs. There are tons of industries in which a 20 IQ difference is not going to make or break your career. Jobs in service, manufacturing, and construction. Tons of positions in accounting, health and every business in between.
This is the crux of why I believe IQ is not the determining factor for income inequality and therefore, racial tension.
Whites are just re-segregating themselves anyway.
