White blotch on iphone

Lil tech support help here. On the main home screen between the airplane mode and the WiFi symbol there’s a white blotch that goes away when I open an app. It’s minor but any input would be nice.

    I dunno, because I have an Android. My folks have iPhones, and honestly I hate when they need my not so technical expertise.

      Why should anyone with an iPhone ever need technical support?

      Surely the only reason anyone buys Apple's ridiculously expensive gizmos is because even a total idiot can use them and they never malfunction.

      You can have both on. My phone shouldn’t be connected to my service due to some technical errors.

        Are you the OP? Idk what they mean by blotch or where they are even seeing this. but if i had to guess maybe they're talking about bluetooth?

          Yes
          Like the top right icons just get pushed to the side by a white blotch like there’s an extra icon there but nothing is running and it goes away if I run an app, then it’s just airplane mode and WiFi icons.
