Every art style has its niche. 2D? Yep. 3D? sure. Stop motion? definatly.
when it comes to shows and films I have a soft spot for 2D. This is mostly due to being a huge anime fan. ^.^"
I also respect 3D due to my interest in game design and graphics.
One thing that does sadden me though is that instead of embracing the new arts with the old many people simply decide to dispatch with the old when somthing cheaper and easier to use comes along. Not that I can blame people for wanting to get results for cheaper in less time, but some part of me feels we are losing older art styles.
I like pen drawings. Thankfully, this is an art that still has quite the following.
I own a set of sketching pencils and dip pens. ^.^
