  • Lol, if Cam Newton keeps averaging 400+ yards per game, we can expect a long and successful career for him.

Assuming that he can't maintain 400+ yards/ game, I think it's still a safe bet that Newton will become one of the elite QB's of the league, also assuming that he can stay healthy.

    • Cam Newton is having moderate success because he is new, I give it two years max before defenses have him figured out.

Same reason Vince Young fizzled out so quickly, same reason Tebow will amount to nothing more than a passing fad, and the same reason MIchael Vick is fading so quickly this year.

      • Cool assumptions. Vince Young was always terrible. Tebow will eventually become a decent quarterback, he has far too much talent to be a flop. Michael Vick is fading? Have you watched their games? Vick is not to blame for the Eagles struggles. Sometimes teams take a bit to figure out their chemistry. The Eagles will be a good team before the season's over. Look at last nights blowout of Dallas and tell me Vick's fading.

        • A lot of people liked Vince Young when he was starting in the league for the same reasons they like Tebow and Newton. I have to disagree with you on the Tebow thing, I think he is very over rated.

And I may have gone a little far saying that Vick has faded, but I dont think he is having quite the season that many thought he would have, and sure they beat the crap out of the Cowboys... but it was the cowboys so I dont read too far into it lol
