a) the Chinese prefer Chinese-language websites
b) about 1% of Chinese people can speak English (10 million - about the population of Sweden)
c) internet censorship is fairly strict in China (Google, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter are all blocked, among others - though the tech-savvy Chinese can find ways around it)
A and B apply to most countries in Asia - many do not speak English and prefer websites in their own language. Which is entirely understandable. Hence low rates of ethnically asian people on IIN.
