and they would be wrong. I'm sure High School and college also tells you to call Indians "Native Americans", yet i took a Tribal government class in college taught by an "Indian" and says Indian is a more correct term, hence the Bureau of Indian Affairs, etc.

False. You are either born in Africa, or you are born in America. There is no such thing as an "African American." The correct term is blacks.

Don't kid yourself. Just because I am of Scottish descent doesn't mean I go around calling myself a Scottish American.
Well every college I've ever been to & even in High Schools, they teach their students NOT to use the term "black" sooo ya.
