    I think the Paris Dakar rally is by far the most interesting and challenging race on the planet.
    I fail to see the challenge in powering around an oval track for 500 laps, other than for the drivers to keep from getting bored. Come on, cars can turn to the right AND the left, guys.

        Most people only watch Nascar for the wrecks. It is something I've watched enough of to understand and become bored with, as a spectator.
        There was a time when their innovations trickled down to the passenger car industry, but I believe those days are long gone.
