Which planet would you live on?

  • I don't want to live on any planet. Would you mind terribly if I drove the spaceship that took everyone else to the planets of their choice?

    • You are correct!

The term 'planet', is derived from the Hellenic (Greek), 'astēr planētēs', which means 'wandering star'. The massenergy object, that we exist in, is not a star, nor does it wander. Any star would be inhospitable to human life (in very near proximity). It would be impossible to live 'on' a star, since stars are composed primarily of hydrogen and helium (and for an assortment of other reasons). The major extra-solar massenergy objects of this solar system, elliptically orbit the proximate star 'Sol', and do wobble somewhat (variably), due to gravitational effect from other proximate massenergy objects (mostly proximate natural satellites, such as the moon), but they do not wander.

Unfortunately, one does not drive a ship. One pilots, steers or helms a ship. Although ships do exist in space, since we all exist in space, I'm certain that this form of conveyance would be impractical beyond the atmosphere.
