  • College will land you a high paying job... It gives young people the unrealistic idea that they can wing it and find a job in the real world no matter what degree they have. So they go to college for four years on their parents' dime and get a degree in Gender Studies or some bullshit like that and then get out and hold up signs on Facebook saying that their inability to find a stable office job is the fault of the Patriarchy. Yes, I DO go to school with people like this and of other varying majors.

    This is why many schools require you to have a solid career plan before they accept you here.

    • Is astronomer a solid career plan? What if your parents gave you 10 million dollars? Would they let you get 10 degrees if you can?
