    Be yourself.

    It could take someone their whole lifetime to figure out who they are. Instead of saying that to someone, tell them to be the person that they want to be, not the person they feel pressured to be.

      Absolutely, thumbed back up. It's trite advice and your alternative is 100 times better.

      "Be myself??" ... "But I'm a total cunt!! They all told me that was the problem!?!?"

        Yeah it's just really generic and unhelpful to tell someone to "be themselves"
