where is this logic coming from
This 'logic' is possibly a result of something known in psychology as the false consensus effect.
This is a common cognitive bias where people believe that their personal qualities, beliefs, urges and actions define what is 'normal' for everyone.
"Straight" people are just bisexuals with a preference for the opposite sex. "Gay" people are just bisexuals with a preference for the same sex. It is impossible to live life and never had 1 straight or gay experience ever, unless you are asexual.
