I HATE it when people say that "POTATO" thing. Not only because it is loud, annoying and not funny at all, but because the people who use this phrase think it is hilarious and believes everybody else does. Rant over.
I logged in just to give you a thumbs up. By the way, it seems to me 'potato' is the new 'taco'. I remember when people used to be obsessed with tacos, like around... 7th or 8th grade. Then it was pie, then "the cake is a lie" thing.
But I totally agree with you. People think they are original putting 'potato' in something thinking that it's random and that it's funny, when it's not.
I'm not entirely sure, I think it's from Celebrity Juice, I have heard Keith Lemon say it a few times. However i'm not sure whether that's where it originates from.
I saw it only once, it was on a picture where you saw a mentally disabled person holding a piece of paper with "I can count to potato" written on it.
Never heard of those things you mentioned.
I think it's a funny sounding word and its randomness made me include that option, or else the post would be ohsoserious ;p
Which of these is the most annoying?

I must be totally out of the loop, but what the heck is the "POTATO" thing? Please explain!
