Which of these is more important to you?

The simple things are the finer things.

Whatever I need to survive is O.K.with me,if I ever get some extra shit it's just a bonus.

The simple things do make me happy and support me. The "finer" things only cause stress. And that isn't simple.

I like a good mix of the two, but more simple things than finer things.

The simple things create a sense of support and sereneness. It may not make your relationship moderate but it will keep it in tact.
