Look, I think this is all a bit stupid if i'm honest. My initial comment is in reference to banter I share with a user from on here. However when squeallikeasackofpigs felt the need to respond in such a way, i decided to carry the point forward regarding sovereign states (wrongly i agree)
I agree that the UK can be a country or a sovereign state of which England is obviously a part of. Since I was born and raised in England, when asked what nationality I am I always answer English but that doesn't mean I'm not British too.
It's just a ridiculous misunderstanding and I think you calling me dumb is a little unnecessary.

I didn't call you dumb, I said the statement was dumb. Which is different.
But yes, I guess the in-joke didn't translate to the rest of us so it was misunderstood. All is well :)
