    Leslie Fucking Nielsen! His acting method feels incredibly natural, as if he's not even trying to be funny.

        Out of all of them, I’d rather Adam Sandler. I do think he sold his soup to Netflix though, lol. Spanglish is one of my absolute favorites.

    I can't choose between Leslie Nielson and Jim Carrey. They're both exceptional. Those other 2 goons you have in your poll are mediocre flavor-of-the week types.

    Jim Carrey. I like Will Ferrel too and Ben Stiller but he's not an option. God I hate Adam Sandler so much... Why does he always talk like a baby and like he has a speech impediment?! He sounds so fucking dumb and annoying it makes my skin crawl.
    Jim Carrey overall is a fantastic actor. My favorite movie is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and he blows me away in that one.
    Will Ferrel is not the best actor out there (but i'd have to see him in more varied roles to judge his acting skills better) but he's funny in the movies he's in.

    Adam Sandler sucks. He plays the same juvenile and annoying character in every movie.

    Jim Carrey is ok and I'm neutral about Will Ferrell, but Leslie Nielsen is a legend! Airplane, Naked gun and all the over the top parodies...

    I'd also like to add another great comedy icon to the list - Lloyd Bridges. Any comedy he's been in, had me laughing until my stomach starts hurting.

    Jim Carrey is the better actor out of those but that only happened after he stopped trying to do comedy. He's great in The Truman Show and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind...

    I have no idea who Leslie Nielsen is.

    I chose Will Ferrell cause he was usually more mild and cause Elf was fuckin’ good, Anchorman also good, I liked Get Hard enough

    Jim Carrey would be a very close second cause he’s usually cleaner and he’s easy watching, casting him in Sonic the Hedgehog was gold. Grinch is always good.

    I can’t stand the way Adam Sandler yells, I don’t find him funny. I really liked Uncut Gems, Anger Management was good but that’s because I’m a Nicholson fan. He might do well with more serious stuff, heard good things about him as a person though.

    I’m not real big on slapstick/loud comedy

          You might give Airplane! a try.

          It's a little dated now, since it came out in 1980, but it's still funny - if you're one of those people who's still in touch with the sense of humour you had as an adolescent. It's a parody of the disaster film genre which hit a peak in the seventies (Towering Inferno, The Poseidon Adventure, Earthquake, etc, etc), so you'll only get some of the references if you're familiar with those trashy films, but it's silly and ridiculous enough that my young-teen daughter was amused by it.
