Which nintendo console was better? the n64 or the gamecube?

N64 ( Mario 64, Mario kart 64, Goldeneye, Ocarina of Time, Smash Bros Original, etc ) 6
GC( Mario Sunshine, Mario kart: Double Dash, Metroid prime, Wind waker, Smash Bros Melee etc ) 7

    The GameCube is better. In it's time the n64 was groundbreaking and "nostalgiafags" as you call them will never forget that. When I played melee for the first time on the GameCube it was pure heaven.

    Easy question: the gamecube by far. Was more powerful than the competition and didn't have that cartridge crap. Respect the catalogue they are pretty much the same, just happens that a lot of people grew with the n64 and now are nostalgiafags. The n64 also had more opportunities to innovate so add that to the nostalgia. Heck, Ocarina in terms of quality isn't near wind waker or twilight princess.
