You could say the same about "instrumental" and "world music" (although the latter isn't on the OP's list). They're not so much genres as adjectives.
I think I'd put "religious music" in that category, too. Religion is more of a subject matter than a genre. Lots of people use "religious music" as a short-hand for gospel, just like rap as used as a short-hand for hip-hop.

Yeah it's the same when people saying 'screamo'. It's a type of vocal, not a genre.

Yeah I see what you mean about the Instrumental... And it's often similar to Electronic. And religion in general just annoys me.
