Death is scary when you're worried you didn't finish your life be it by living it to the fullest, being kind, whatever. With that being said life is the scariest thing, life is the great unknown anything could happen tomorrow, including death.
But the worrying part is still part of life. When you're dead, you're dead. You're calm. You just sit in the ground away from all possible worry. Nothing can harm you anymore.
(Unless you believe there's an afterlife.)
