You can still lite the house on fire with a bulb though with a candle its probobly a lot easier. Also if you have a wrong voltage of bulb it can break. Also an electrical fire is much harder to put out compared to a regular fire. Since with electrical fires water will just aggravate the situation. Though some have used dirt to put out fires as well.
That's like saying what's better, a wooden chariot or a 2013 Dodge Viper.
Ah! To ride dramatically into town with a whip in one hand and reigns in the other would be a dream come true.
"Scatter you peasants!"
Well how much horse power does that chariot have? Its certainly more aesthetically pleasing.
Ahhh, candles. Such a lovely glow and very useful in the winter if you happen to run out of heating oil and can't afford to buy more...
There are pros and cons for both.
Candles can help to set the mood for romance but lightbulbs often lack the property unless they are coloured but it still isn't the same.
Candles can be a fire hazard and so can lightbulbs if they overheat and break or if theres a spark. If you have one in a lamp there's also the risk for an electrical fire. Both can cause burns of vary degrees.
A lightbulb is much more fragile. If to much pressure is applied the structure can shatter making yet another hazard. Let's say that the glass shards fell on the floor and you can't see them because you still haven't put a new lightbulb in. You cautiously go down to the floor and walk to where you left the fresh lightbulb. You accidentally step on the shards which puncture and maim your feet because you weren't wearing any shoes. You'll now have to the hospital for stitches as well as the retrieval of pieces that may have gone under the skin.
The candle's body can be coloured. It can come in many scents, most which are artificial, smell overpowering and may cause you to sneeze over and over again. A lightbulb can be tinted to come in many different hues and shades but it will never have a flouncy aroma to it. The only smell it will ever have is the smell of overheating.
Lightbulbs can pose health risks to you as well as the environment if they contain mercury. If you break a mercury lightbulb in your home or on your porch, I think you have to call in environmental specialists to clean it up which I'm sure would cost a lot not to mention the costs of your hospital bills!
Candles are good for scaring whether it be in a movie or inside a pumpkin, it sets the mood the way a candle never could. For instance, if you made a jack-o-lantern would you use a candle or a lightbulb to light it? You'd use a candle. Jack-o-lanterns do come with lightbulbs but those are usually fake and have a weird smell. You can munch on them like you could with a real pumpkin. With a real one you can put it to further use by keeping its insides and making food or wine from it. Oh my! It seems I went of topic slightly but oh well, I'm sure you get my point.
With Candles you can scare people.
I did it to my brother, i turn off all the lights on the hall and lighted a candle and i was holding it, he jumped out of his skin #Evil Laugh#
